I was reading Oswald Chamber's "My Utmost for His Highest" this morning, and today's devotion kind of kicked my butt on the whole burnout thing.

Hmm... Well, I don't see the connection for you. You don't worship your work, which is what the Right-Reverend Chambers is talking about. Isn't he? Anyway, I say worship God with the life God has given you. If that means an extend mental break from work on the golf course, I think that is ok. We're not talking about you becoming a complete slug.
